COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION
The selected candidates are posted to the following services:
1) Railways
2) Ordnance Factories Health Service
3) Central Health Service
4) Municipal Corporation of Delhi.
They are formally appointed only when they have completed their compulsory rotating internship.
Qualifications
MBBS Degree. ‘Candidates appearing in the final MBBS Examination are also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions.
Age
Below 30 years as on January 1 of year of examination. Relaxable for SC/ST candidates.

Paper I: (200 marks)
· General Medicines including Cardiology
· Surgery including ENT
· Ophthalmology
· Neurology
· Traumatology and Orthopedics
· Dermatology and Psychiatry.
Paper 11: (200 marks)
· Pediatrics
· Gynecology
· Obstetrics
· Preventive Social and Community Medicine.
Written Examination (Objective type) is followed by Personality Test (200 marks) for the successful candidates.

Assistant Divisional Medical Officer Rs. 8,000 – 13,500
Sr/Divisional Medical Officer/
Asst.. Director Rs. 10,000 – 15,200
Medical Superintendent/Chief Rs. 12,000 – 16,500
Medical Officer/Dy Director
Super Time Scale Rs. 18,400 – 22,400
